Sewing Halloween Costumes (Last Minute)

I, the ultimate procrastinator, decided last night around 7 p.m. to begin sewing our Halloween costumes.  It is almost noon here today, the day before my huge party, and I've one costume to sew, and it's not an exceptionally easy costume, either.  My husband will be a Victorian ghost, which means I basically have to sew a suit today, including a vest and ruffled dickey.  Sounds like fun, doesn't it?

In order to caffeinate myself really thoroughly, I stopped by Starbucks for a huge latte.  So far there has been no effect.  However, I can't wait forever.  I still have a day's worth of sewing and pressing, plus my dress, finished at 2 a.m., still lacks the zipper.

Tomorrow will be my cooking day and all will be well.  I keep telling myself this...

Luckily, my cake is being made by Ai Cakes of Raleigh, and I have no worries about how it will look or taste.  In fact, I'm really excited to see what she has created for my special event.  :)
