I'm so excited to be leaving tomorrow--to cover a wedding on a cruise but also to tour bakeries in the Caribbean. It will be interesting to see what types of cakes are made in that area of the world, or if cake isn't their choice of dessert.
The wedding is Sunday, which means WEDDING CAKE!!! (I'm jumping up and down right now). I'm scheduled to meet with the pastry chef to see what she does and I hope that she invites me in the kitchen while she is preparing the wedding cake itself. Wouldn't that be sweet?
I will keep my hopes neutral though because I know how busy that kitchen must be on a cruise of this magnitude.
There is a small chance I will be able to post from the sea, so keep your eyes peeled. If I can, I will!
